if messi can follow thru to next season he might be better than ronaldo in terms of silverware and all. but based on last season, messi is undoubtedly the best player for that season and ronaldo the year before that.

Hahaha what a joke. So Fergie is finally going senile. If anything, Messi is streets ahead of Ronaldo. Ronaldo never shows up to big games *ahem CL final*, and his diving makes a lot of matches hard to watch. Sorry Ferguson, but you’re statement sounds like it came from a donkey’s a**.

I remember the head to head between AC Milan and ManU in 2007 CL 1st leg. Kaka absolutely destroyed the ManU backline, scoring 2 brilliant goals. Ronaldo was invisible during both legs.
So I can certainly understand why Ferguson wouldn’t have many kind words to say about Kaka.
