What's with, "The late kick off Sunday meant Liverpool needed three points to keep pace with title rivals Chelsea and United." Of the three teams you mention, two have lost key players without adequate replacements, the other has several old players. Whilst Chelsea's abilities are not diminished purely by that, the recovery time from injuries will undoubtedly take longer and they haven't strengthened at all.

So, Arsenal lost a lazy, uncommited (albeit talented) lump like Adebayor and Toure who, despite being solid, is not half the player he was before contracting malaria. Yet still we are not worthy of being a "title rival".

You just let me know what makes a team who has never been a premiership winner a "title rival" but a team that wallops "top four contenders" on their own patch not worthy of that accoldate. Oh no, don't bother, it's all because Lescott was unsettled, any old team would have won 6 -1 at Goodison wouldn't they? Or are you one of those like Collymore who comes out with "Arsenal are a fair weather team that will never do it on a cold winters night up North - despite being unbeaten away in the League since November.
