As a liverpool supporter I have to agree with everything in the above article. Randy Learner has done a fantastic job as the chairman of Villa, mind you, you also have the best manager in the UK in MON. You won't get MON wasting money on bad purchases, and even average players want to give 110% for him. Learner in this for the long haul and don't think it will be too long before you start getting trophies back in Birmingham. Wouldn't be a shock if you get into top 4 this season.

i hope for the Villa fans' sake, Lerner, and Martin O'Neill that their hardwork gets them where they want to be.

About time the 'big four' were broken up into more of a 'top six' (for example) just makes football that little bit more exciting to watch- doesn't it, championship/lower league fans???

Why is the Prem so revered the world over? because its so competitive.
Italy- Inter 6 points ahead of AC, 11 ahead of Roma.
Spain- Barca 5 clear of Real, 8 ahead of Valencia...
and likely to stay that way.

i wonder what Sullivan and Gold will do with WHU?!

I agree, Villa onkly have brought in players who will improve the squad, no cheap botched up deals for squad players. Lerner won't make a signing for the sake of it. Well done and good luck to Villa. Champions League in the next 3 years withouty a doubt
