FC Twente are eager to sign 18-year-old Arsenal prodigy Jack Wilshere on loan for the remainder of the season.
The young midfielder has been subject to much interest during this transfer window, with a queue of Premier League and Championship clubs eager recruit the youngster.
Steve McLaren is believed to be an admirer of Wilshere and is eager to take the player to Holland for up to 18 months. It remains to be seen whether Arsene Wenger would be willing to allow his future star to join on a such a lengthy loan deal.
The French manager has indicated that he would be willing to send the player to another club in order to gain vital experience, but would only be willing to do so once the list of causalities is reduced at the Emirates. Robin van Persie and Nicklas Bendtner have both been absent for the starting line-up for over a month now.
Such are the rave reviews emanating from the Emirates over the prestigous talent of this teenager that Fabio Capello is believed to have been impressed. Talk of a call-up to next summer’s World Cup would be premature, but the Italian has not ruled out the possibility.
For this to occur it would be necessary for Wilshere to play regularly for the remainder of the season.
FC Twente would be the perfect location for the left-footed attacking midfielder to ply his trade for a couple of months. McLaren’s men play attractive football and currently lie in top spot in the Eredivisie.
Joop Munsterman, the FC Twente president, is confident that a deal can be struck next week for a temporary move.
With Cesc Fabregas and Gael Clichy close to full fitness and the return of Nicklas Bendtner on the horizon, Wenger could be willing to allow the player to move.

Arsene Wenger will only send him to premier league. I think Jack wants to go to the Hammers, his boyhood dream.
