José Mourinho has confirmed that he has no intention of cutting his Inter Milan contract short in order to make a return to the Premier League.

The former Chelsea manager has recently been linked with a return to England’s top flight, but the 46-year-old this week confirmed that he would see out the rest of his contract in Italy before considering a move back to England.

Mourinho, who won back-to-back Premier League titles with Chelsea, has already led his Italian side to domestic success with Inter winning the Serie A title in his first season in charge.

The Inter Milan manager, whose side currently eight points clear at the top of Serie A, said: “I will say this one last time, I am in love with English football, with the English lifestyle and it’s true I want to go back.”

“But I don’t know when it will happen. And I will never leave a job half-done. It’s fairly easy. I have a contract until 2012 and I love being here.”
