I’d take him. If four years ago proved anything it’s that for a one off tournament, experience is all important.
That said, Italy are so poor at the moment that the second round is looking like an achievement…

I have to say I agree with Mike. If England are contemplating taking David Beckham (aged 34), for his experience and influence on the squad then Francesco Totti represents a valuable asset for the Azzurri. His goal record speaks for itself in Serie A. He is respected by his team-mates and opposition. Itay are struggling for goals without Er Purpone. He has to go.

italy and the world cup need players like totti there. his record speaks for itself,hes scored more goals than any playing italian player in seria a . watching as roma play,the difference to the team when totti plays is enormous. there’s no doubt totti will be on the plane,hes taking a nice rest for himself now till june :-) forza totti!!
