The newspaper claims that Christian Purslow, Liverpool’s Chief Executive, has been in talks with his Fulham counterpart, Alastair Mackintosh, for the last 72 hours, and the two finally came to an agreement in the late hours of Tuesday night.
The Merseyside club will have to pay the Cottagers Ã‚Â£2 million in compensation as a part of the deal which will bring the 62-year-old to Liverpool.
