Fàbregas will move eventually, insists Barça president
New Barcelona president Sandro Rosell insists Cesc Fàbregas will join the Spanish champions, but admits the transfer may not take place this summer.
An already-strained relationship between the two clubs was further damaged when Carles Puyol and Gerard Piqué forced a Barça shirt on the Arsenal captain during Spain’s World Cup celebrations.
And Rosell admitted Arsenal are less than pleased with the Spanish club’s public pursuit of 23-year-old Fàbregas, who is under contract with the London club until June 2015.
“Arsenal feels very hurt by Barça,” Rosell told Catalan TV3. “They don’t want to listen to offers or sell and they are not putting the player (Fàbregas) on the market. There was a strong dispute a few months ago and they have not forgotten it.
“He will arrive, even if it is not now, it will be next year,” he continued.
“We will see. One thing that is certain is that we will not go mad trying to sign him. No shareholder would pay €60m or 70m for him.
“We will not go all out for him. We would only pay his value in the transfer market.”
I thought the president would be more respectful to Arsenal fans than the Players.
This shows that the whole barca should sink & b forgotten.

AW should keep Cesc and make him to be a king by concern and concentrate in every second to bring the English role model (most talent ) player in the pitch to be the winning the trophy without Cesc ‘s service. Many years went pass without trophy because AW not concern to built the English player enough enven if they should have done. That is very very wrong mistake of AW but this year AW has chance to built English if he enough to royalty to English club Kibb ,Lanbruri,Eastmond ,Wilshear,Frimpong Kyle ,Emmanuelson and esp Theo. Dont say these have a little experience ,that liar man. AW should built team around English players. Why do we care Cesc? No ,if Barca negotiation in good no one who’s stupid to refuse.
Since Cesc has never made a secret of one day returning to Barca this president is hardly giving the world an exclusive is he. No doubt he will claim all the credit when CESC decides he wants to go back.
