Video: Cristiano Ronaldo spits at camera after Spain defeat

By TSR staff

Cristiano Ronaldo says he is a “broken man” after Portugal crashed out of the World Cup to Spain at the last 16 stage.

Ronaldo spat in the direction of a TV camera after the final whistle and later did not mention the incident but admitted that he was “completely broken-hearted”.

“I feel devastated, completely broken-hearted, frustrated and unimaginably sad,” Ronaldo said on the Gestifute website, which is owned by his agent.

“I know I’m the captain, I have always faced up to my responsibilities, and I always will, but at that moment I couldn’t have said more than three or four lucid phrases.

“I am a human being, I am suffering and I have the right to suffer alone,” he added.

come on people, he did not spit at the camera… as far as i can see he was walking minding his own business and the camera was all up in his face. can’t a man have a good spit after such a terrible loss in peace. I feel your pain cris… and i am equally sad because my world cup eye candy (you) have been knocked out.
