Tottenham Hotspur are reported to be considering the possibility of securing separate shirt sponsorship deals for their participation in different competitions next season.

Following the conclusion of their deal with Mansion, the News of the World reported that the London club have been struggling to attract offers of the level they were expecting.

The recently-expired agreement with Mansion was worth £8.5-million-per-year and following their qualification for the Champions League next season, the club were understood to be seeking a deal worth £10million annually.

But Spurs are yet to receive any offers of that level and although the club hopes a deal can be put in place within the next two weeks, there is the possibility that the club will commence the new season without a shirt sponsor.

“We are working hard to deliver international partnerships for the club, improved operations and choice for the fans,” said a Spurs spokesman.

“Increased commercial deals will translate into investment in all areas of the club – on and off the pitch.”
