The Sport Review’s round-up of all of the latest news from the world of Formula 1.

Bridgestone have revealed the tyre compounds for the final four races of the season—their last in F1 before Pirelli takes over in 2011. Japan and Korea will both feature the soft and hard compounds, while Brazil and Abu Dhabi will see the return of the super soft and medium compounds, which will also be used in Singapore.

The new US Grand Prix in Austin could leave fans sitting in the Texas heat up to 12 hours as they wait to get in and out of the purpose-built facility according to Travis County’s Transportation and Natural Resources Department. They base their estimates after visiting the Texas Motor Speedway in Ft. Worth, where getting in and out of that facility takes only three hours.

Pedro de la Rosa is confident of retaining his seat at Sauber, despite being left off the team’s 2011 driver line-up. Current team-mate Kamui Kobayashi has already been confirmed after impressing in his first full season in F1.

Law firm DLA Piper is suing Hispania Racing over unpaid legal fees. Team principal Colin Kolles claimed last week that HRT’s financial situation was “improving.”

DLA Piper’s John Everett said: “These fees have been outstanding for more than a year and, despite frequent reminders, Hispania Racing have failed to pay. They have given us no reason for non-payment, so we’re forced to the conclusion that they’re unable to pay. Hence we’re commencing proceedings.”

Seven-time world champion Michael Schumacher has said being part of F1’s review of team orders “would be ideal”, believing himself to be the perfect candidate to help the sport clarify the rules. Schumacher famously benefitted from team orders at the 2002 Austrian Grand Prix when Rubens Barrichello pulled over to allow him through on the final lap.

Jacques Villeneuve has not given up hope of returning to F1 despite the FIA turning down all bids for a 13th team this week. The former world champion teamed up with former GP2 team Durango to launch a bid, but the pair will now seek to buy into an existing team. Rival bidder Epsilon Euskadi is also looking at other options to join the sport, with a merger with struggling Spanish team HRT a possibility, leaving Villeneuve with the option of teaming up with Virgin-branded Manor Racing, or his former team Sauber.

And finally…

Karun Chandhok has been linked with a move to Force India for 2011 if Adrian Sutil moves to Renault. Sutil’s name has been linked with the French team for some time, and for Chandhok and FI owner Vijay Mallya, it would provide them with the perfect opportunity to have an Indian driving for an Indian team at the inaugural Indian Grand Prix.

Chandhok is currently contracted to Hispania, but has been displaced from the team by Sakon Yamamoto, and his future in the sport seems uncertain with few race seats available for next season.
