Javier Hernández

Javier Hernández heads Saturday’s (and one of Sunday’s) tips as another action-packed weekend of Premier League football has The Tipster trembling with excitement.

Our man in the know reckons the Little Pea, as he is so affectionately known, is likely to score against Sunderland – and is expecting the goals to fly in during Everton’s trip to Newcastle.

Javier Hernández to score at any time against Sunderland – 10/11

The Mexico striker has netted four times for Sir Alex Ferguson’s men in the league this season, including last weekend’s crucial winner at Everton. As all four of those goals have come away from Old Trafford, Hernández will be eager to grab his first goal of the season at home on Saturday against a Sunderland defence that has conceded 12 goals this season and looked very shaky against Aston Villa last weekend. Chicharito to find the net is the value bet in this game.

Over 2.5 goals in Newcastle v Everton – 21/20

Newcastle Untied have been the biggest surprise so far this season – and their matches have been packed full of goals. Four of their last five Premier League games have featured over 2.5 goals, while Everton’s last two away matches in the league have both produced four goals. So over 2.5 goals represents value here at 21/20.

Tottenham to win at Fulham on Sunday – 5/4

Tottenham are starting to put in some impressive displays after a disappointing start to the season. A midfield of Scott Parker and Luka Modric, with Gareth Bale and Aaron Lennon prowling the wings is giving excellent balance to Harry Redknapp’s side – and The Tipster feels 5/4 is simply too good to turn down for the north London side continuing their good run of form on Sunday.
Bet365 odds

Edin Dzeko to score at any time against QPR – 5/6

The Bosnian has been prolific for Manchester City this season, particularly away from home, where Spurs, Manchester United and Bolton have all failed to stop him from scoring. The Tipster is confident Dzeko will continue his good form and find the net at Loftus Road on Saturday – and 5/6 is surely good value.

The long shot: Luis Suárez to open the scoring v Swansea – 3/1

Granted, the fiery Uruguayan has not netted a Premier League goal since the Merseyside derby last month – but he looked a constant threat at West Brom last weekend and won Kenny Dalglish’s men a penalty. He’s always lively in the box, and The Tipster reckons Swansea’s visit to Anfield will be the perfect opportunity for Suárez to score his eighth goal of the season for the Reds. Today’s audacious long-range effort then, is for the 24-year-old to open the scoring on Saturday.
