FA Cup fifth round draw: Home ties for Chelsea, Liverpool, Everton

FA Cup favourites Chelsea will host Birmingham City in the fifth round, while Liverpool will welcome Brighton to Anfield

Chelsea will host Birmingham City in the fifth round of the FA Cup after the draw was made on Sunday.

André Villas-Boas’s side, now the favourites to win the cup following Manchester City and Manchester United’s elimination, booked their place in the draw thanks to their 1-0 win over Queens Park Rangers on Saturday.

Meanwhile, Liverpool will host Championship side Brighton and Hove Albion after Kenny Dalglish’s men sealed a dramatic late victory over Manchester United at Anfield on Saturday.

The winner of Arsenal’s clash with Aston Villa on Sunday will travel to either Sunderland or Middlesbrough, while Everton will face either Blackpool or Sheffield Wednesday at Goodison Park.

Harry Redknapp’s Tottenham Hotspur were paired with Stevenage after Spurs narrowly beat Watford on Friday night.

FA Cup fifth round draw in full:

Liverpool v Brighton and Hove Albion

Everton v Blackpool or Sheffield Wednesday

Chelsea v Birmingham City

Crawley Town v Stoke City

Stevenage v Tottenham Hotspur

Norwich City v Leicester City

Sunderland or Middlesbrough v Arsenal or Aston Villa

Millwall or Southampton v Bolton Wanderers

All ties to be played the weekend of 18 and 19 February
