Barcelona face Athletic Bilbao in their last game under Pep Guardiola – and El Tipstro is backing Lionel Messi to have the final say in the Copa del Rey showpiece on Friday night.

The Tipster’s European cousin reckons Fernando Llorente will make it hard work for Barça, but expects the Catalan side to cap Guardiola’s special reign with a final trophy at the Vicente Calderon in Madrid.

Messi to score the last goal against Athletic Bilbao – 2/1

Messi has been in prolific form this season for Barcelona and his tally of 72 goals has smashed Gerd Müller’s 39-year record. Interestingly, 23 of those strikes ended up being the final goals of the game – so El Tipstro’s opening bet for this Copa del Rey special edition is for Messi to score last at 2/1.
Bet365 odds

Barcelona to be winning at half-time and full-time – 4/6

Barcelona were 2-0 winners against Athletic Bilbao in March, with Andres Iniesta scoring in the first half and Lionel Messi sealing the win after half-time. Barcelona have been winning at the break and have gone on to secure three points in 25 league games this season. Therefore, Barcelona to be winning at half-time and full-time is a good bet at 4/6.
Bet365 odds

Fernando Llorente to score at any time against Barcelona – 21/10

Manchester United will remember Llorente’s goals home and away against the Premier League side in Europe this season. The 27-year-old has netted 27 goals in 51 appearances, and he has scored against Barça already this season. So, Llorente to score at any time on Friday night is a solid shout at 21/10.
Bet365 odds

Over 3.5 goals in Athletic Bilbao v Barcelona – 10/11

Barcelona have scored at least two goals in their last three meetings with Bilbao, and their last five games in all competitions have finished with over 3.5 goals. Three of the last four meetings between the Catalan side and Basque outfit have resulted in a minimum of three goals – so El Tipstro reckons that over 3.5 goals in the final is a good bet at 10/11.

The long shot: Athletic Bilbao to beat Barcelona – 8/1

Athletic Bilbao have won their last five Copa del Rey games but a final against Barcelona is undoubtedly a much tougher proposition than Oviedo and Mirandes. El Tipstro considers Barcelona to be favourites, but the Catalans could choke as a result of the emotion surrounding Guardiola’s farewell – so this edition’s long shot is Bilbao to win at 8/1.
