Picture special: F1 teams put cars through their paces at Mugello
We bring you a selection of images from the Mugello circuit in Italy following the conclusion of the final day of testing
Fernando Alonso droves his Ferrari into a barrier during the day of Formula 1 testing at the Mugello circuit but looks to have escaped uninjured.
Ferrari posted an update on their Twitter feed, writing: “An off track from Fernando hampered morning’s session. At least two hours to repair the damages. It is a shame but that’s testing!”

Meanwhile, Red Bull driver Mark Webber has denied penning a pre-contract agreement with Ferrari – before refusing to rule out joining the Italian team.

He told ESPNF1: “There’s a whole season ahead of us before we need to think about the future. One day the talk is about Jenson [Button joining Ferrari], then it’s Sergio, now it’s me. I haven’t signed anything.”

“My focus is on this team. We have had a good start to the season, we’re only four races down and the road is very, very long before we start talking about the future.”
