The Tipster’s European cousin is also tipping Fernando Llorente to score for Bilbao in what should be a thrilling final between two of Spain’s most exciting teams.
Falcao won the Europa League with Porto last season, scoring the winner in the final and taking his tally to a record 16 goals en route to the final in Dublin. The Colombian striker has been similarly impressive at Madrid, with 33 goals in all competitions in his first season with the club. So El Tipstro’s opening bet for this edition is Falcao to score for Atlético Madrid against Athletic Bilbao at 8/5.
Atlético Madrid are unbeaten in this season’s Europa League and have remarkably won their last 11 games. Madrid have won three of the last five meetings betweeen the two sides, and have experience of winning the competition after beating Fulham in the 2010 final. So Madrid to beat Bilbao is a good bet at 7/5.
There have been over 2.5 goals scored in Bilbao’s last six games in Europe’s second tier club competition. Similarly, in five of Madrid’s last six fixtures in the Europa League, there have been at least three goals. Therefore over 2.5 goals in the final looks a solid bet at 19/20.
Fernando Llorente scored home and away against defending Premier League champions Manchester United, and the Spanish striker has scored almost a third of Bilbao’s goals in the Europa League. El Tipstro is backing Llorente to net in the final at tempting odds of 15/8.
There have been nine games this season in which Falcao has scored first and Madrid have gone on to win. And the 26-year-old scored twice in Madrid’s 2-1 victory over Bilbao at the Vicente Calderon in March. So El Tipstro’s audacious long-range effort for this edition is for Falcao to score first and Madrid to win at 8/1.
