Chelsea transfer target Hulk cools talk of Porto exit
Brazilian striker Hulk moves to cool speculation linking him with a move to Chelsea from Porto this summer

Hulk has apparently moved to cool speculation linking him with a move to Chelsea by insisting he is “not dying to leave” Porto.
The Brazilian striker has long been linked with a move to Stamford Bridge, with the 25-year-old originally touted as a transfer target for former Blues boss André Villas-Boas during the Portuguese coach’s doomed spell in west London.
The speculation over a possible switch has heightened in recent weeks, and it was reported the striker was poised to join the Champions League winners in a £38m deal.
But the forward has now insisted he would be happy to stay at the Portuguese club – but admits he is still unsure where he will be playing his football next season.
“I’m not dying to leave,” Hulk told Brazilian website Globoesporte.com. “There is an obsession. I love the Portuguese fans and have always been right with the club.
“Now, if a European club reaches an agreement with Porto, I will leave. But we still have time to discuss this, because the transfer window runs until August.
“I honestly do not know what will be my future. I just know that there are several others besides these two clubs [PSG and Chelsea] that have shown interest in me.”
Hulk has scored 76 goals in 166 appearances for Porto in four prolific seasons at Estádio do Dragão. ![]()
