Arsenal determined to keep Robin van Persie, says Peter Hill-Wood
Arsenal are "not the remotest bit interested" in selling Robin van Persie this summer, says chairman Peter Hill-Wood

No clubs have made offers for Robin van Persie this summer, according to Arsenal chairman Peter Hill-Wood.
The 28-year-old striker has been heavily linked with a move away from The Emirates as he enters the final year of his contract after netting 30 Premier League goals for the Gunners last season.
Manchester City has been touted as a possible destination for the forward, with Serie A champions Juventus also reportedly interested in signing the Dutchman.
But Hill-Wood has played down the speculation over the Arsenal captain’s future, with reports suggesting the striker will hold talks with Arsène Wenger this week.
“As far as I am aware nobody has made any offer for him and he is away so we are not in any dialogue at all,” Hill-Wood is quoted as saying by the Daily Mirror. “We’re not in the remotest bit interested in selling him.” ![]()
