Red Bull’s Mark Webber set the pace in the final practice session for the Hungarian Grand Prix, with a lap time of one minute 21.550 seconds.

The Australian edged out McLaren’s Lewis Hamilton, the leader of yesterday’s practice, by just 0.093 seconds, while the second Red Bull of Sebastian Vettel was a further 0.028 seconds adrift.

The result should answer speculation in Hungary surrounding how much Red Bull will be affected by a rule change that restricts the amount they can alter engine settings to improve driveability and aerodynamics.

Williams’ Bruno Senna continued his impressive Friday form in fourth ahead of Ferrari’s Fernando Alonso, and the Spaniard’s team-mate Felipe Massa was eighth ahead of Force India’s Paul di Resta, with Jenson Button completing the top 10 for McLaren.
