Manchester City’s Mario Balotelli is worth £200m, says striker’s agent
Manchester City's Mario Balotelli is worth £200m after the striker's Euro 2012 exploits, according to the Italian's agent

Mario Balotelli’s agent believes the Manchester City striker is now worth £200m after his performances at the European championship.
The 21-year-old scored in the Italy’s 2-0 victory over the Republic of Ireland with an eye-catching overhead kick before he netted a spectacular brace in the Azzurri’s 2-1 win in the semi-final against Germany.
Balotelli scored 13 goals in 23 appearances for City last season as Roberto Mancini’s side clinched the Premier League title on the final day of the season, and his agent Mino Raiola says the striker’s value has increased after his exploits at Euro 2012.
“I have always said that Mario Balotelli is one player that could become the strongest in the world,” Raiola told Sky Sport Italia.
“How much is he worth? In the actual market I don’t think there is a value for him but if I had to give a price I would say he is worth €250m (£200m).
“I say this to give a figure but you would have to ask the City owner [Sheikh Mansour] how much he is worth.”
Balotelli has scored 27 goals in his two seasons at Eastlands since moving from Internazionale in a €22m (£17.5m) deal to link up with his former manager Mancini.
Balotelli has been linked with a move back to Serie A in recent weeks, with champions Juventus reportedly interested in the controversial striker, but Raiola dismissed the speculation.
“I’m 200 per cent certain that Mario will not return to Italy at least while I’m his agent,” Raiola added. ![]()
