Owen Hargreaves is training with QPR, prompting the club's fans to speculate about a permanent deal on Twitter
Queens Park Rangers have confirmed former Manchester United midfielder Owen Hargreaves will train with the Loftus Road outfit.
The 31-year-old was released by Manchester City earlier this summer after the England international played just 13 minutes of football for Roberto Mancini’s side in the Premier League last year.
Saturday’s announcement prompted a flurry of activity on Twitter – and here are some of the Tweets that caught our eye.
Joseph Butterfield (@Josephb_01) thinks Hargreaves could be a good signing for QPR: “Owen Hargreaves would be really good if kept fit!”
Eric Kamara (@_erickamara) still rates the midfielder despite his injury troubles: “Owen Hargreaves training with QPR he is a free agent, I think he play a lot of his career in Germany achieve a lots, he still great.”
