Andy Murray's Wimbledon semi-final against Jo-Wilfried Tsonga is second on Centre Court on Friday, after Djokovic v Federer

Andy Murray’s Wimbledon semi-final showdown against Jo-Wilfried Tsonga is second on Centre Court on Friday at SW19.
Defending champion Novak Djokovic will take on Roger Federer in the first last-four tie on the main show court at the All England club, with play scheduled to start at 13:00 BST.

British No1 Murray booked his place in the last four after battling back from a set down to beat David Ferrer, the Spaniard who had ended his French Open hopes at the quarter-final stage in May.
Tsonga, meanwhile, overcame Philipp Kohlschreiber, also in four sets, on Wednesday to reach the semi-finals at SW19 for the second straight year.
The French No1 insists he is not fazed by the prospect of facing home favourite Murray in front of a partisan Centre Court crowd.
“That’s alright [to face the home favourite],” said Tsonga. “Sometimes I play against a player who has a lot of support and I win. At the US Open [in 2011], I played against [Mardy] Fish in a tight match. It was not easy, but I won it.
“It is of course an advantage to play at home, but it’s still tennis, and you never know what can happen on court.”
Djokovic takes on Federer in the first match in what is the pair’s first-ever meeting on grass. The Serbian world No1 has won six of the last seven matches against his Swiss opponent but will need no reminding that Federer is a six-time champion at Wimbledon. ![]()
