Chelsea will be aiming to win their third piece of silverware under Roberto Di Matteo on Friday, and the Tipster is backing Fernando Torres to score at any time against Atlético Madrid in the European Super Cup.

Our resident betting expert is backing an exciting final between the Blues and Diego Simeone’s side and over 2.5 goals, but is ultimately tipping Radamel Falcao to fire the Spanish outfit to glory.

Torres to score at any time against Atlético – 13/10

The 28-year-old looks to be finally rekindling the form which made him one of the most-feared strikers in Europe while at Liverpool. He’s already netted three times this season, and it will be an emotional night against his former club in Monaco. The Tipster’s opening bet for this edition is Torres to score at any time in the Super Cup at solid odds of 13/10.

Atlético Madrid to beat Chelsea – 11/5

Chelsea’s defence looked susceptible at times en route to winning the Champions League last season – particularly against Napoli. Similar to the Serie A outfit, Simeone’s side have the firepower to punish a Blues rearguard which will be missing suspended skipper John Terry. So The Tipster is backing Atlético to beat Chelsea at 11/5.
Bet365 odds

Over 2.5 goals in Atlético v Chelsea – Evens

There will be some outstanding attacking talent on show in Monaco on Friday night, including Eden Hazard, Juan Mata, Gabi, Falcao and Torres. These two sides met in the group stage of the Champions League in 2009, with both games producing four goals. The Tipster is backing over 2.5 goals between Atlético and Chelsea at tempting odds of Evens.
Bet365 odds

Falcao to score at any time against Chelsea – 6/4

Falcao became the first player in history to win two consecutive European titles (2010 and 2011) with two different teams while at the same time becoming the top goal scorer for both those teams (Porto and Atlético) in their title-winning campaigns, scoring in both finals. The Colombia international scored 36 goals in 50 games for Atlético last season, and the Tipster is backing him to net at any time against Chelsea at 6/4.
Bet365 odds

The long shot: Over 4.5 goals in Atlético v Chelsea – 6/1

Chelsea managed a 2-2 draw against Atlético the last time these two sides met in November 2009, with the Blues winning 4-0 at Stamford Bridge a month earlier. Four of the last seven Super Cup finals have ended up with a minimum of four goals, so the Tipster’s long shot for this edition is an audacious over 4.5 goals at 6/1.
