José Mourinho wants Arsenal target Nuri Sahin to seal England move
Real Madrid manager José Mourinho believes a loan move to the Premier League would benefit Turkish midfielder Nuri Sahin

José Mourinho believes Nuri Sahin would benefit from joining a Premier League club on a season-long loan, amid interest from Arsenal, Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur.
Sahin, who joined Madrid from Borussia Dortmund last summer, has been heavily linked with a move to Arsenal following Alex Song’s departure, while Spurs and Liverpool are also interested in the 23-year-old.
And Mourinho, who is still hoping to bring Luka Modric to the Bernabéu this summer, is keen to see Sahin gain first-team experience at a top-flight English club.
“The Premier League is a good place for players to pick up certain characteristics which he does not have,” Mourinho said.
“It is all the same to me though which club he goes to. I just hope that it happens soon for him, as it is best for him. Liverpool, Arsenal or Spurs, I have no preference.”
Meanwhile, Brazil midfielder Kaká has been linked with a loan switch to Manchester United as Sir Alex Ferguson looks to bolster his squad.
But Mourinho revealed the Bernabéu outfit have not received any offers for the former AC Milan playmaker, with the Madrid manager hinting Kaká’s wages are a potential stumbling block to any deal.
“Kaká’s situation is completely different,” Mourinho added. “We have no official request for Kaká; we do for Nuri.” ![]()
