Manchester City will be looking to secure successive victories in the Premier League on Sunday – and the Tipster is backing Carlos Tévez to score against Liverpool.

However, our resident betting expert is predicting a draw at Anfield. Meanwhile, at the Britannia Stadium, he’s tipping both Stoke City and Arsenal to score but the match to ultimately end in a draw.

Tévez to score at any time against Liverpool – 7/5

Tévez has scored in successive games in the new season – the 28-year-old netted against Chelsea in the Community Shield, before scoring in a 3-2 victory over Southampton – he also bagged the winner for former club Manchester United at Anfield in 2007. The Tipster’s opening bet is Tévez to score any time against Liverpool at 7/5.

Liverpool and Manchester City to draw – 23/10

Liverpool are notoriously good at raising their game for the visit of their top-four rivals at Anfield – even when they are at their lowest ebb. The Reds drew with City, Tottenham and United at home last year, beat Chelsea and Newcastle, with only Arsenal winning at Anfield. With that in mind, the Tipster reckons Liverpool and City to draw is a great shout at 23/10.

Both sides to score in Stoke City v Arsenal – 5/6

Arsenal were unable to net against a stubborn Sunderland defence in their opening fixture – next up is a strip to the Britannia. Stoke and Arsenal have both scored in this fixture in four of their last five meetings – so the Tipster is backing both the Potters and the Gunners to net on Sunday at solid odds of 5/6.

Stoke City and Arsenal to draw – 12/5

Tony Pulis’ side certainly have the edge in Premier League meetings between these two clubs at the Britannia – two wins, one draw and one defeat in their last five encounters. Arsenal are still trying to remodel their attack with the loss of key man Robin van Persie and are likely struggle against a well-organised Stoke rearguard. Stoke and Arsenal to draw is an excellent bet at 12/5.

The long shot: Liverpool to score a penalty v City – 8/1

Liverpool captain Steven Gerrard has scored in the last two games against Manchester City (he’s 11/4 to do so again on Sunday). Both of the midfielder’s goals came from the penalty spot, while James Milner also netted from a spot-kick against the Reds at the Etihad last season. The Tipster’s long shot for this edition is Liverpool to score a penalty against City at tempting odds of 8/1 (City are 7/1 to net from the spot).
