Van Persie scored a staggering 30 goals in 38 Premier League appearances last season for Arsenal as he won the top-flight golden boot. The 29-year-old netted the Gunners’ winner in a 1-0 victory over the Toffees at The Emirates last term, and will be desperate to net his first United goal as soon as possible. Jelavić is the latest in a string of great value signings by David Moyes at Everton. This has been a very tough fixture for United in recent years – both home and away. Arguably, their 4-4 draw with the Toffees at Old Trafford cost them the title last season.
