The Tipster is relishing a feast of football as the Premier League’s big boys all play on Saturday, and our man-in-the-know is backing Robin van Persie to score for Manchester United against Wigan Athletic.

Our resident betting expert is also backing Arsenal to beat Southampton without conceding, while tipping Steven Fletcher to help Sunderland to a victory over Liverpool, and Stoke City to beat Manchester City.

Van Persie to score at any time for Man Utd v Wigan – 8/11

Van Persie has effortlessly slotted into United’s first-team since completing a £24m move from Arsenal to Old Trafford in August. The Netherlands international has already scored four goals for the Red Devils and has been passed fit for Saturday’s showdown. So, the Tipster’s opening bet for this edition is Van Persie to score at any time for United against Wigan at 8/11.
Bet365 odds

Arsenal to beat Southampton without conceding – 13/10

Much has been made of Steve Bould’s promotion to Arsenal assistant manager, with the Gunners the only team yet to concede in the Premier League this season. In addition, Arsenal are six games unbeaten against the Saints. The Tipster reckons Arsenal to beat the visitors without conceding is a good bet at 13/10.
Bet365 odds

Fletcher to score at any time for Sunderland v Liverpool – 9/4

Steven Fletcher scored twice on his Black Cats debut against Swansea City. The striker did not feature for Scotland in their World Cup qualifiers, so he should be fresh for the visit of Liverpool. The Tipster reckons Fletcher to net against Rodgers’ side is a great bet at 9/4.
Bet365 odds

Sunderland to beat Liverpool – 12/5

Rodgers is still waiting for his first Premier League victory as Liverpool manager. However, Sunderland’s new signings Fletcher and Adam Johnson will be looking to impress against the Reds. The Black Cats have won two of the last three meetings between these sides at the Stadium of Light, so The Tipster is backing Sunderland to beat Liverpool at 12/5.
Bet365 odds

The long shot: Stoke City to beat Manchester City – 4/1

Roberto Mancini’s side face the unenviable trip to the Britannia Stadium on Saturday. Peter Crouch’s wonder-goal earned a point for Tony Pulis’ side against the Premier League champions last season. And The Tipster’s equally as outrageous long shot for this edition is the Potters to go one better and beat City at great odds of 4/1.
