The 34-year-old has enjoyed a return to goal scoring form since the start of the season. The midfielder has already netted twice for Chelsea in the Premier League, while also scoring three times in England’s World Cup qualifiers against Moldova and Ukraine. Meanwhile, City have scored three goals in two away games this season which included a trip to Anfield. With these stats in mind, the Tipster considers both teams to score in Madrid v City to be a great shout at 4/6.

Arsenal to win and keep a clean sheet v Montpellier – 9/4
Arsenal were emphatic 6-1 winners against Southampton on Saturday, but Arsène Wenger will have been disappointed to concede a sloppy goal and end their run of three successive clean sheets. The Tipster expects the Gunners to return to their defensively watertight ways against Montpeillier, and is backing the north London side to win in France without conceding at 9/4.

Man Utd to win and over 3.5 goals v Galatasaray – 11/8
Sir Alex Ferguson revealed earlier this week that United would get “pilloried” if they failed to reach the last 16. The Red Devils kick off their Champions League game with a relatively straightforward fixture against Turkish outfit Galatasaray. With Ferguson resting Shinji Kagawa and Robin van Persie at the weekend ahead of this one, the Tipster is backing over 3.5 goals and United to win at 11/8.

Ivory Coast midfielder Yaya Touré has proven to be a key player for the defending Premier League champions since arriving from Barcelona, developing a habit of scoring important goals.
