The Tipster welcomes the return of the Champions League this week, and he is backing Frank Lampard to score for the holders against Juventus on Wednesday night.

Our resident betting expert is also tipping Real Madrid and Manchester City both to score, with Yaya Touré netting for the Premier League champions – and Arsenal to beat Montpeillier while keeping a clean sheet on Tuesday night.

Our-man-in-the-know is then predicting Manchester United to secure a commanding victory over Galatasaray at Old Trafford, and Lampard to net at any time against the Italian champions.

Lampard to score at any time v Juventus – 13/5

The 34-year-old has enjoyed a return to goal scoring form since the start of the season. The midfielder has already netted twice for Chelsea in the Premier League, while also scoring three times in England’s World Cup qualifiers against Moldova and Ukraine. So the Tipster’s opening bet is Lampard to score at any time against Juventus at solid odds of 13/5.

Both teams to score in Real Madrid v Man City – 4/6

José Mourinho’s have endured a mightily difficult start to the the defence of their La Liga crown, winning just once in four attempts and conceding four goals. Meanwhile, City have scored three goals in two away games this season which included a trip to Anfield. With these stats in mind, the Tipster considers both teams to score in Madrid v City to be a great shout at 4/6.
Bet365 odds

Arsenal to win and keep a clean sheet v Montpellier – 9/4

Arsenal were emphatic 6-1 winners against Southampton on Saturday, but Arsène Wenger will have been disappointed to concede a sloppy goal and end their run of three successive clean sheets. The Tipster expects the Gunners to return to their defensively watertight ways against Montpeillier, and is backing the north London side to win in France without conceding at 9/4.
Bet365 odds

Man Utd to win and over 3.5 goals v Galatasaray – 11/8

Sir Alex Ferguson revealed earlier this week that United would get “pilloried” if they failed to reach the last 16. The Red Devils kick off their Champions League game with a relatively straightforward fixture against Turkish outfit Galatasaray. With Ferguson resting Shinji Kagawa and Robin van Persie at the weekend ahead of this one, the Tipster is backing over 3.5 goals and United to win at 11/8.

The long shot: Touré to score at any time v Real Madrid – 5/1

Ivory Coast midfielder Yaya Touré has proven to be a key player for the defending Premier League champions since arriving from Barcelona, developing a habit of scoring important goals. Touré has scored 22 goals in 96 appearances for City, and the former Barcelona man will relish the chance of netting at the Bernabéu. So The Tipster’s ambitious long shot for this edition is Touré to net at any time for City against Real at brilliant odds of 5/1.
