The Tipster’s final assignment of a busy round of fixtures is Newcastle United’s trip to Everton on Monday night – and he’s backing Nikica Jelavić to score for Everton against Newcastle.

Our resident betting expert is backing both teams to score, with over 2.5 goals on Merseyside, but is ultimately expecting the match to finish in a draw.

Jelavić to score at any time against Newcastle – 11/10

Jelavić was a revelation for Everton in the second half of last season after completing a switch to Goodison Park from Rangers in January. The Croatian scored nine goals in 13 Premier League games – and he netted his first of the new campaign against Aston Villa. The Tipster’s opening bet is Jelavić to score for Everton at any time against Newcastle at 11/10.

Both teams to score in Everton v Newcastle – 10/11

Everton and Newcastle have both scored in their last three meetings. The Magpies have conceded four goals in their opening three games, while David Moyes’ side have conceded three goals in as many games. So, with that in mind, both sides to score looks a good value bet at 10/11.

Everton and Newcastle to draw – 11/4

Both Moyes and Pardew will harbour hopes of qualifying for the Europa League this season, and it should be a close game between these two rivals. Two of their last six meetings have finished in a stalemate, and the Tipster is backing the same to happen on Monday night at 11/4.
Bet365 odds

Over 2.5 goals in Everton v Newcastle – 19/20

There have been over 2.5 goals in the three most recent clashes between Everton and Newcastle, with the Toffees winning 3-1 at home on the final day of the season back in May. The Tipster is expecting a high scoring game between these two sides, and over 2.5 goals looks a very solid bet at 19/20.
Bet365 odds

The long shot: Ben Arfa to score at any time against Everton – 9/2

Ben Arfa has netted in two of his three Premier League games this season and the France international has scored nine goals since moving to St James’ Park. The Tipster’s ambitious long shot for this edition is Ben Arfa to score for Pardew’s side at any time against Everton and is exceptional value at 9/2.
