Carlos Tévez scored a 61st-minute winner to help Manchester City seal three points against Swansea and close the gap on Premier League leaders Chelsea.

Elsewhere, Arsenal edged to a narrow 1-0 victory over Queens Park Rangers, Stoke City and Sunderland endured a stalemate, Fulham and Reading played out a thrilling 3-3 draw, while finally, Wigan Athletic were 2-0 winners against West Ham United.
