Harry Redknapp insists that anything is possible in Wednesday’s west London derby between Chelsea and Queens Park Rangers, but the Tipster reckons Juan Mata will fire the Blues to an inevitable victory.

Indeed, our resident betting expert is backing the Spaniard to score and Chelsea to win to nil at Stamford Bridge to heap further misery on the Hoops.

Elsewhere, our man-in-the-know is tipping Steven Fletcher to net as Liverpool’s erratic form at Anfield continues, with Sunderland backed to edge to a draw on Merseyside.

Mata to score any time for Chelsea v QPR – 20/21

Mata has three goals in his last five league games as well as finding the net in recent League Cup and World Club Cup matches. He was unlucky not to get on the scoresheet against Everton but Frank Lampard knocked in the rebound for the winner from his shot. He always gets on the end of chances and the way QPR defend, the Tipster expects him to have opportunities to score. Mata to score any time is a good shout at 20/21.

Chelsea to win to nil against QPR – 20/21

The bet that stands out here is Chelsea to win to nil at almost Evens. The Blues have kept clean sheets in their last three league games at Stamford Bridge, while QPR have failed to find the net in four of their last six away games and they looked devoid of ideas against Liverpool last time out, going down 3-0 at home. The Tipster is backing Chelsea to beat QPR and keep a clean sheet at 20/21.

Liverpool and Sunderland to draw at 15/4

Liverpool’s home form has improved of late, winning four of their last six at Anfield, but 4/11 is not a price to be backing a team with consistency problems. (The Tipster is thinking of the Aston Villa result here!). Sunderland have taken points away from tough grounds like Stoke and Arsenal and have won two of their last four away games. The Tipster can see the Black Cats frustrating Liverpool here. They have drawn on their last two visits to Anfield and the teams couldn’t be separated when they met earlier in the season, so the Tipster likes the look of the draw at 15/4.
Bet365 odds

Fletcher to score any time for Sunderland v Liverpool – 10/3

Sunderland have managed to find the net in their last five away games and with Steven Fletcher on the end of a lot of their chances, he will be favourite to net for the Black Cats at Anfield. The Scotland international scored in the 1-1 draw between the sides earlier in the season and he has eight league goals this season. The Tipster reckons Fletcher to score any time is a good bet at very generous odds of 10/3.

The long shot: Liverpool and Sunderland to draw 1-1 – 17/2

The Tipster has already mentioned Liverpool’s mixed record at Anfield this season as Brendan Rodgers looks to leave his stamp on the club. The Reds have won four, drawn four and lost three at home. Sunderland have recorded 1-1 and 2-2 draws in their last two trips to Anfield. The Tipster’s long shot today is a very specific Liverpool and Sunderland to draw 1-1 at 17/2.
