England will attempt to end their 13-year winless run against Brazil on Wednesday night – and the Tipster is backing Wayne Rooney to score against the five-time World Cup winners at Wembley.

Our man-in-the-know reckons that both Brazil and the Three Lions will score, tipping Neymar to net his fourth goal in England after impressing at the London 2012 Olympics.

However, the Tipster ultimately feels that Luiz Felipe Scolari will mastermind his second victory over England upon his return to London.

Rooney to score any time for England v Brazil – 7/4

In-form Manchester United striker Rooney scored the winner in a 1-0 victory over Fulham at Craven Cottage on Saturday. The 26-year-old has been in impressive goal-scoring form since returning from a festive period injury, scoring four goals in his last three appearances. The Red Devils man netted three times in England’s World Cup qualifiers in October, and so the Tipster is backing Rooney to score against Brazil at 7/4.

Both sides to score in England v Brazil – 8/11

England have scored in every game since their stalemate against Italy in the Euro 2012 quarter-finals, where they went out on penalties. Roy Hodgson’s side have scored a total of 14 goals in five games, including a 4-2 loss to Sweden in their last outing. Meanwhile, Brazil have netted 26 goals in the same spell and have scored in their last eight clashes against the Three Lions. So the Tipster reckons both sides to score is a great bet at 8/11.

Neymar to score anytime for Brazil against England – 13/10

Neymar will certainly attract plenty of interest in this friendly, with the Santos forward opting to stay in Brazil rather than move to Europe. He featured for Brazil’s Olympic side at London 2012, striking three times but failing to net at Wembley. He scored 14 goals in 17 appearances in Brazil’s Serie A last season, and our resident betting expert is tipping the hotshot to net any time at 13/10.
Bet365 odds

Brazil to beat England – 11/8

England haven’t beaten Brazil since 1990, when Gary Lineker scored the winner in a 1-0 victory at Wembley. That was only the third time the Three Lions have beaten Brazil. Since that win, England’s record against A Seleção reads four draws and four losses. Hodgson has players in form like Steven Gerrard, Frank Lampard and Rooney, but the Tipster feels with history in mind, Brazil to beat England at 11/8 is where your money should go here.

The long shot: Cole to score any time v Brazil – 16/1

The Tipster couldn’t get away with not mentioning England’s seventh centurion (providing Hodgson keeps his word) Ashley Cole in this edition. The Blues left-back has never been prolific for Arsenal or Chelsea, scoring 17 goals in 539 appearances. His England record is even bleaker, with the left-back yet to find the net for his country. So what better time than Wednesday night?! The Tipster’s audacious long shot is Cole to score any time at 16/1.
