Manchester City will look to bounce back from last weekend’s shock defeat in Cardiff, and the Tipster is backing Edin Dzeko to score at The Etihad on Saturday.

Our man-in-the-know expects the Citizens to beat Hull without conceding, while his long shot is Manuel Pellegrini’s men to win 4-0.

Dzeko to score first in Man City v Hull City – 4/1

The Bosnia-Herzegovina striker looks a different player now new manager Pellegrini is showing faith in him. The 27-year-old was excellent against Newcastle and he opened the scoring last time out against Cardiff with a terrific strike. With him leading the line in front of Aguero, the Tipster expects him to get chances and take one. He has already racked up more attempts than any other player in the Premier League this season (10). Dzeko to score first is 4/1.

Man City to win to nil against Hull City – 4/5

City will look to recover from their shock 3-2 defeat by Cardiff last time out. Whilst there may be concerns about them defensively following that display, it should be noted that they are far stronger at home, and the Tipster doesn’t foresee this Hull side causing them too many problems. City kept a clean sheet in 10 of their 18 games at The Etihad last season. And so the Tipster is backing Manchester City to win to nil at 4/5.

Under 2.5 goals in Crystal Palace v Sunderland – 4/6

Both these sides have managed just one goal each from their opening two league games. Crystal Palace are a poor outfit and it would be no surprise to see them finish bottom of the Premier League. There is a real lack of quality going forward and they will struggle for goals in most games. Paolo Di Canio has brought in a lot of players in the summer but they will take time to gel as he decides on his best team. Under 2.5 goals in Palace v Sunderland is worth a punt at 4/6.

Sunderland to beat Crystal Palace – 15/8

This price on Sunderland is worth taking at 15/8. It is true that both sides have had underwhelming starts but going through each team, it is clear that Sunderland have a far stronger squad. Di Canio’s men will be full of confidence after storming back to a late win over the MK Dons, whereas Palace were knocked out of the cup by Bristol City. The Blacks Cats to beat Palace is 15/8.

The long shot: Man City to win 4-0 – 9/1

Whilst City may have suffered a shock loss on the road last weekend, the Tipster fully expects them to bounce back against Hull on Saturday. The Citizens were emphatic 4-0 winners against Newcastle United in the opening round of fixtures. Hull, meanwhile, were only beaten 2-0 by Chelsea. With the attacking talent available to Pellegrini, the Tipster reckons Man City to win 4-0 against Hull City is worth an outside shout at 9/1.
