Lingard scored a staggering four goals on his Birmingham City debut last month, whilst Powell netted twice in Wigan Athletic’s first-ever Europa League victory last week.
Macheda’s Doncaster Rovers switch was cut short due to injury but the Championship outfit have expressed an interest in resigning the forward on loan when he is fit.
And Moyes is thrilled to see the trio progress as United aim to make sure their up-and-coming stars are ready for the “real big league”.
“It tells you about the back-up players we’ve got in the squad that we can allow these players to go on loan,” Moyes told United’s website. “And they are doing well at their respective clubs.
“We have got a really good squad of players and there is a lot of competition for places.
“I’m delighted to see Nick, Jesse and Federico getting goals. It shows they are doing well, especially the young ones, as we’re trying to give them games and get them more practice so they are ready for the real big league when their time comes.”
