“I’m sure Kolo Toure felt terrible after his mistake at West Brom,” Molby wrote in his Liverpool Echo column.
“He’s a conscientious fella, and he will have known just what a poor error he had made.
“But there is absolutely no need for the Ivorian to beat himself up about it.
“Mistakes happen – I even made one once, I’m told! It is how you bounce back from them which defines you.
“If Kolo ever needed some inspiration, he should look at Bruce Grobbelaar. Bruce used to make some absolute howlers, at a time when the team as a whole was usually shining.
“But he never let it get to him. He would still come and try to claim the next cross. He reacted perfectly to his mistakes.”
