Pep Guardiola has remained tight-lipped on speculation linking Bayern Munich midfielder Toni Kroos with a summer exit.

The 24-year-old was heavily linked with Manchester United during the final week of the January transfer window after David Moyes was spotted at a Bayern league match last month.

In January, Bayern boss Pep Guardiola, who was appointed as manager at the Bavarian club last summer, admitted that the Germany international could end up quitting the Champions League holders.

However, when the former Barcelona boss was quizzed further on the playmaker’s future on Sunday, the Spaniard refused to shed any light on the speculation.

“I comment only on players who played the match,” Guardiola said.

Meanwhile Bayern Sporting director Matthias Sammer rubbished reports that the Bundesliga champions could sell Javi Martinez and Thomas Mueller in the summer transfer window.

“Javi Martinez to Real Madrid, Muller, I don’t know, to Dynamo Dresden, it’s all rubbish,” he said.

“We’re a buying club, not a selling club. And to think about Martinez or Muller for only a second…that’s the only thing that bothers me a bit.”
