Mikel Arteta admits that Arsenal will have to be at their best if they want to keep Luis Suarez quiet at Liverpool on Saturday.

And Arteta has been thoroughly impressed by Suarez’s form for the Reds this season under Brendan Rodgers.

“For me, Luis has been the best player in the Premier League this season,” Arteta told The Sun.

“It’s not just his scoring record that has been phenomenal. His assists and his overall play create fear in the opposition.

“He’s had some issues in the past but everyone can make mistakes in life and the way he has responded this season has been unbelievable.”
