Jackson Martinez is not in negotiations with Arsenal over a possible switch to north London, according to the forward’s agent.

The Porto striker was heavily linked with a January move to Emirates Stadium as Arsene Wenger sought to bolster his attacking options at the Gunners.

The Colombia international, who joined Porto from Chiapas in 2012, has been in sparkling form this season, scoring 18 goals in 22 games in all competitions.

But Jackson’s agent Manuel Manso ruled out any discussions with interested parties until the end of the season.

“At the moment there is not any kind of negotiation for Jackson Martinez,” Manuel Manso told TMW. “Until May we will not talk with any team.

Martinez has scored 54 goals in 80 appearances in all competitions since moving to Porto.
