The Reds are two points clear of second-placed Chelsea after a 2-1 victory over West Ham United at Upton Park on Sunday.
It’s our responsibility as players to concentrate on the next team we face
Liverpool face Manchester City in a potential title decider at Anfield this weekend, and Suarez isn’t thinking beyond the Citizens clash.
“We’re not getting carried away with the talk of a possible trophy,” Suarez told Match Magazine. “It’s obviously nice for the fans to believe and be excited.
“But it’s our responsibility as players to concentrate on the next team we face, do our best on the pitch and we’ll see what happens in May.”
Suarez scored six times in five games last month, and the Uruguay international picked his second goal in a hat-trick against Cardiff City as his favourite March moment.
“I’ll go for the hat-trick at Cardiff and keeping the match ball as my biggest achievement of the month,” Suarez added.
“That was my sixth hat-trick since joining Liverpool. The goal where Daniel Sturridge back-heeled the ball for the assist was probably my favourite goal of the lot.”
Suarez feels that he has improved over the course of the season after scoring 29 Premier League goals.
“You always want to improve as you progress through the different seasons. If you don’t want to constantly improve, then you might as well give up,” Suarez continued.
“I’ve had some good seasons in the past, with some very good strike partners, but this season has felt very good and I’m really enjoying my football.”
