The Denmark international has been one of Spurs’ standout performers in recent weeks after arriving for £11m from Ajax last summer.
I’m happy here and I am looking forward to the future
The 22-year-old has scored six goals and made six assists in 20 Premier League appearances for the north Londoners.
And Eriksen has vowed to stay on at the club – even if they miss out on qualification for next season’s Champions League.
“I’m happy here and I am looking forward to the future,” Eriksen, who scored in Spurs’ 5-1 win over Sunderland on Monday, is quoted as saying by the Daily Mirror.
“For me, the feeling I have at the club isn’t dependent on being in the Champions League.”
“Our aim now is to win all our matches so that we end the season with some confidence ahead of next year and if we do that, we can see where it takes us in the table.”
