Mario Balotelli’s agent has fuelled the speculation linking the Italy striker with a transfer to Arsenal by describing the Gunners as a “fantastic” club.

Balotelli has been touted as a target for Arsene Wenger as the Arsenal manager looks to bolster his attacking options ahead of the new season.

Will a transfer happen? Anything is possible

Mino Raiola

Wenger is reported to have given the north London club the go-ahead to make a £27m bid for the 23-year-old AC Milan forward after watching him at the World Cup.

And the forward’s representative has done little to cool the speculation about his client’s future when quizzed about Balotelli’s situation.

“Arsenal are a fantastic club,” Mino Raiola told Sky Sports. “Will a transfer happen? Anything is possible.”

Balotelli, who netted Italy’s winner in the 2-1 victory over England on Saturday, scored 14 Serie A goals and made six assist for Milan last season.
