Juventus want to sign Arsenal target Adrien Rabiot, the club’s general director Beppe Marotta have confirmed.

The 19-year-old French midfielder played a bit-part role in PSG’s Ligue 1 triumph last season, making 13 of his 25 top-flight appearances from the bench.

Rabiot, who spent part of his youth career at Manchester City, did manager to score two Ligue 1 goals, as well as net in PSG’s triumphant Coupe de la Ligue campaign.

Juventus, Inter Milan and Roma are believed to be ready to rival each other for the teenager’s signature, whilst United are reportedly interested.

“[Rabiot] is an intriguing prospect that we have monitored multiple times. Unfortunately he’s owned by Paris Saint-Germain, I don’t know what else to say,” Marotta is quoted as saying on Gianlucadimarzio.com.

Last week, Rabiot’s agent and mother Veronique Rabiot claimed that they have received no offers for the PSG playmaker.

“An agreement with Roma? No, it’s not true, we do not have a deal with any club,” she told Tuttosport.

“My son has a contract with Paris Saint-Germain, but does not want to extend it. If the club wants to sell this summer, then it must listen to proposals that come in.

“If the Bianconeri were to present an offer than PSG accepted, then Juve would be a solution that could interest my son.”
