Marouane Fellaini has refused to be drawn on the speculation surrounding his future amid reports that he could be set to quit Manchester United this summer.

The Belgium midfielder has struggled to find consistent form at Old Trafford following his £27.5m transfer to the Red Devils from Everton last summer and was limited to just 12 Premier League starts in his debut season.

Fellaini’s spot in United’s starting line-up could be set to come under threat following the arrival of Ander Herrera from Athletic Bilbao last week.

And the 26-year-old insisted that he is not going to make any decision about his future until after this summer’s World Cup in Brazil.

“We will see after the World Cup,” said Fellaini.

“I don’t have to prove [anything]. I’ve been a professional footballer for eight years.”
