Gary Neville believes Angel di Maria looks like a proper Manchester United player.

The Argentina international was handed his Red Devils debut for their trip to Burnley on Saturday, donning the historic number seven shirt.

Di Maria penned a five-year deal with the 20-time English champions on Tuesday after United agreed a British record £59.7m deal with Real Madrid.

And United legend Neville, who has been urging Louis van Gaal to sign a pacey player in recent weeks, was impressed by Di Maria’s instant impact at Turf Moor.

Di Maria scored 22 goals in 124 La Liga appearances at Madrid.
