Joel Campbell is confident that he can be a success in the Premier League if Arsenal give the Costa Rican a chance to impress this season.

The 22-year-old forward was one of the surprise stars of the World Cup as the Gunners strikers helped Costa Rica reach the knockout stage.

The Premier League’s the most interesting in the world and I’ve always wanted to play here. It’s my dream

Campbell scored eight league goals for Olympiakos during a season-long loan last term, prompting interest from Serie A giants AC Milan.

However, the Arsenal striker, who has spent the last three campaigns on loan at Lorient, Real Betis and Olympiakos, is determined to be a hit in England.

“The Premier League’s the most interesting in the world and I’ve always wanted to play here. It’s my dream. And I believe I’m good enough,” Campbell told the Sun.

“I’ve played around 100 games in three different divisions in Europe. Lorient in France, Real Betis in Spain and Olympiakos in Greece, where I played Champions League too.

“I’m confident of being successful in any division in the world.”
