Chelsea continued their winning start to the Premier League season by securing a thrilling 6-3 victory at Everton on Saturday.

Diego Costa and Branislav Ivanovic gave the west Londoners a 2-0 lead after just three minutes at Goodison Park before Kevin Mirallas headed one back on the stroke of half-time.

Seamus Coleman’s own goal made it 3-1 to Jose Mourinho’s men but Steven Naismith hit back shortly after to cut the deficit again.

Nemanja Matic then made it 4-2 but Samuel Eto’o’s goal against his former club kept the Toffees in it, before Ramires and Costa sealed the three points for the visitors.

The victory left Chelsea top of the Premier League table on goal difference after a superb start to the season for Mourinho’s side.
