The Gunners midfielder has two goals to his name so far this season after scoring against Crystal Palace and Everton for Arsene Wenger’s men.
I can’t see why he can’t go on to become one of the best midfielders in Europe
The Wales international enjoyed a stellar campaign with the north London side last term, netting 16 goals despite missing more than three months due to injury.
And King is expecting the 23-year-old to push on and continue improving with his club this season.
“I can’t see why he can’t go on to become one of the best midfielders in Europe,” King is quoted as saying by BBC Sport.
“I was speaking to one of the boys and I said he was Arsenal’s best player. I think he’s probably been that for the last 18 months.
“[He’s been] brilliant for Arsenal and brilliant for Wales as well and to have him in our team is obviously only going to be good things for us.”
