Andre Schurrle was all smiles as he snapped a selfie with Schalke striker Sidney Sam after Germany’s 4-2 defeat by Argentina on Wednesday.

The Chelsea star started the World Cup final rematch before being replaced by Thomas Müller after just under an hour in Dusseldorf.

Schurrle posted a picture on Germany’s team bus along with Sam ahead of their Euro 2016 qualifier against Scotland on 7 September.

Schurrle wrote on Instagram: “On the road….good to see my bro @sidneysam18 again!! #dfb #germany”

Manchester United new-boy Angel Di Maria was the star of the show as Argentina gained some revenge for their defeat by Germany in the World Cup final in Brazil this summer.

Di Maria set up three and scored one in a sparkling display for his country.

The 23-year-old Schurrle has hit the ground running for Chelsea this season, scoring one goal in two Premier League games for Jose Mourinho’s men.
