London faces competition from “four other regions” to stage the ATP World Tour Finals from 2016 onwards, it has emerged.

The season-ending tournament has been held at London’s O2 Arena since 2009.

But ATP chief Chris Kermode revealed that talks over where the event will be held after 2016 are under way.

We’ve got interest from four other regions and we’ll make a decision by March or April,” Kermode told BBC Sport.

The Tour Finals features the world’s top eight men’s singles players and doubles pairings.

This year’s tournament begins on 9 November 2014 and runs until 16 November.
