Harry Redknapp has joked that his Queens Park Rangers side are planning to “kick the hell” out of Liverpool at Loftus Road on Sunday.

Redknapp’s side have committed the fewest fouls in the Premier League this season and have also picked up the least number of yellow cards.

And Hoops boss Redknapp has joked that the west London side will bid to make up for that record against Liverpool this weekend.

“We’re going to kick hell of out them on Sunday!” joked Redknapp. “We’ll steam right into this Liverpool and give them what for!”

Redknapp, whose side are bottom of the table, also said that he felt the Reds were unlucky to miss out on the title last season.

“I felt they deserved to win it last year,” he continued. “They’ve lost the fourth best player in the world in [Luis] Suarez and it’s difficult to replace him.

“But they’ve got lots of good players and it takes time to bed them in. They’ll be pushing for a Champions League place.”
